Insurance question

I'm currently insured on my 106 GTi with Elephant, however the car will be going on saturday/sunday as a guy has put down a deposit on it. I won't be getting a 182 until the following weekend probably, and my question is what do I do regarding my insurance? As I still have 6 months left on my policy and obviously I don't want to miss out on another years NCB. So do I call them and tell them I will be getting another car within the week and to put my policy on 'hold'? I'm confused...

You may aswell just leave your poilcy live on the car you are selling and then transfer to the new 182 a week later

yea just leave it as it is, swap ins over when u get new car.
