insurance question

k well im bordering on one years no claims now.. insured the current car for 1600 after crashing my 1st one.

with a years no claims and one accident, what sort of premium should i be looking at? any ideas?

Oh dear.. I'm not entirely sure there is such a thing as a Sport Campus (well news to me if there is, as I apparently have the "Sport" 1.2!!). Are you sure the previous owner wanted to feel cool by spraying the bumpers and sticking 'Sport' on the side? I can honestly say i've never seen those badge's on the side of any clio tbh!! lol

Ah right, I didn't know they did a Campus Sport, but after looking at the Reno website I can see that they are. Is it just the new shaped Campus that's the sport then? (with the longer boot) Oh well. But yes, I have never seen one, that's why I was confused!!

Yea i'm aware now, and I wasn't arguing the fact he has a sport, all I was actually trying to say without causing an arguement was I've never heard of the Campus sport before because I have never come across/ heard of such a thing and I was led to believe by alot of people on here that the Dynamique was the so called "Sports" 1.2.. S'all folks! Hence why I doubted it, but I know now so it's all good.

When i first got mine (1.2 dynamique 55 plate) I was in a car park waiting for my mate and he pulled up in a black 06/56 clio nothing sporty looking about it apart from sport on the door thingy and asked what mine was I told him and he said you should have got on of these they are a limited addition sport like the 172/182 but it's 1.2!! i just laughed and said is that what they told ya.

The colour coding on them is crap aswell

They are nice but people shouldnt go round saying it's a sport coz it will just make you look daft!!

Try Norwich union Mate, they have that young driver deal thing!!

well....on the 23rd of this month ill have 1 yrs ncb. So itll cost me £950 on my 51 1.2 5 door expression. Im 18 btw.

Try RAC. Most companies do 30-35% discount for 1yr NCB, RAC do 53%! Also try elephant. Hard to say prices till you check, constantly changing! I did a quote, went back a week later and did the same quote and was £50 higher!

If you want a quote just as a price guide, do different dates so that its like a 1yr NCB starts 2mo. Its not illegal unless you buy with that quote.
