ive paid my insurance up in full, due for renewal in march, just wondered if i sold my car and didnt get aniother one, would i get a refund for the months im not insured etc or would i lose all my money

you will get the remaining percentage of your insurance.

For example:

you use 2 months you will get 10months back - the cancelation fee, usually £35.

Last time I asked they said it's not pro-rata. So you won't get a proportionate amount back.
