im with direct line car insurance. I notified them of my eibach proline springs. told them they cost £110.. and guess what over 10months the extra added cost is £110 ! so thats another tenner a month + i have full no claims protection and im fully comp so i pay £90 a month. Thing is.. the eibachs look identical to the standard springs ((especially after a few weeks of wear and tear)) so the question is...

Should i remove them from my policy (considering in a crash there not really gonna check ((they didnt even check my bros K&N panel filter when he wrote his car off))B
will they keep a record (computerised) of me saying i have added and removed the springs.. thus make a special check if i have a serious claim ???
