insurance quicky..

im with direct line car insurance. I notified them of my eibach proline springs. told them they cost £110.. and guess what over 10months the extra added cost is £110 ! so thats another tenner a month + i have full no claims protection and im fully comp so i pay £90 a month. Thing is.. the eibachs look identical to the standard springs ((especially after a few weeks of wear and tear)) so the question is...

A:) Should i remove them from my policy (considering in a crash there not really gonna check ((they didnt even check my bros K&N panel filter when he wrote his car off))

B:) will they keep a record (computerised) of me saying i have added and removed the springs.. thus make a special check if i have a serious claim ???

probably but its seriously worth telling them every mod you do !! If they can find something to stop them paying out they will !! And youll be shafted !!
