Insurance write offs

Do all insurance write offs require a new MOT after thay have been repaired or can a cat D have an existing MOT?

Cat C and D need an MOT.

A and B can never go back on the road

E and X are unrecorded no need for anything just calim them back.

edde are you sure about cat x's?
i thought they had to be crushed due to being used in drug related/violent crimes etc???

once saw a cat x E30 M3 for sale, complete with blood and bullet holes but was removed from ebay!!!

I know that cat C have to have a VIC and cat D's dont but i was unsure about the MOT
