Got my self another Mk1 1.2 Clio today. I Phoned up to do a quote.
And they quoted me £4(per month) more for a 1998 Mk1 then a 1993 mk1???

WHY?

as middo said mate...as the car is newer its worth more ££'s maybe not alot but a few...which means it will cost more for the insurance co to replace...so a higher premium charged

is it 5 years newer than your last one or 1 year newer? either way it's cos it's newer, have you also said the car is worth more?

Its 5 years newer then my other one. But when I phoned up for a quote I said the car was 1997 and then phoned back to correct it to say 1998 and they upped the money. And no I put its worth less
