Insuring a car for a day..

Is it possible to insure a car for a day, for example, just get insured for driving it on the motorway for the journey home? Thanks

If your over 21 yes. Not seen any day insure companies that will do under 21's.

As long as the car isn't already insured then you should be able to add it onto your policy for a day. If it is already insured then you'll need to be added onto that policy as an additional driver for the day.

Search for one day insurance, plenty about, but much stricter on age limits etc.

Speccy - We can insure you if you're over 21 dude, for a day you'll be looking at between £15-£30 in general, depending on age, vehicle type, postcode etc...

I've used http://www.insuredaily.co.uk/ as cheap as £9 with some cars.

Its where I get it if i'm desperate. About £40.
