insuring a slower 2nd car

i quite fancy getting a 1.2 or diesel for tootering around in. its too late to phone my insurance the nite but do some policies allow you to have a second car on the same policy or just a small increase in premiums?

not managed to do this as it normally counts as a new policy, but some companies (such as elephant) will put a 2nd car on using the same ncb terms as the original policy. So if you have full ncb, you can apply it to a 2nd car (provided the drivers, location etc are exaclt the same as the first car).
