Interior bulbs

I have a spare couple of led side light bulbs and tried them in the interior lights but they didnt work, the light unit says w5w bulb and the led are that size fitment but dont work. anyone know of a led that would work??

Might be a silly question, but did you try it in the bulb holder both ways?

They have to go in the right way as the bulbs have a positive and negative end!

As above, LEDs are polarity sensitive.

They fit exactly through the holes in the holder, any larger and they wouldn't fit!

i did try it both ways and i know the bulbs are ok cos they worked as side lights, i'll jus get some of the other listed above.

If the bulbs you already have don't work, I doubt these will. Sounds like there isn't any power going into the holder?

Did it work before you put the LED bulbs in?

yea bud the main light and the map light both work fine with standard bulbs in jus not leds???

I had a another play at it trying various different ways... Got it them working, look much better with led interior bulbs.
