Interior Door Lock Problemo

Basically, I got into my car yesterday and drove off.
My doors automatically locked as usual, but the little red led did not show.

When I turn the ignition on and drive, the door automatically lock but the red led is blank. When I press the internal dash button to open and lock the doors, nothing happens. No red led light.

Its all plugged in at the back, its not loose.

What could it be?

Ah right.. maybe there's a wire which has shorted to it or it's burnt out somewhere in the back of the switch?

This is since you disconnected the battery I guess??

Nope before, yesterday I noticed this

Ah right. The switch might've died too. If you know someone close with a clio could be worth just swapping switches and testing? If it's not the switch thats faulty then you know one of the wires it's connected to has gone wrong

I changed my central locking switch to a blue led, the little lock lights up blue, but the indicator that shows its locked or not dosent show up any more. Think i shorted the wires because ive tried different leds.

Someone on here might have a spare switch nocking about for a few quid. easy to swap over.

I have fixed it..

My HU and cables was pushing the cable of the door switch and kept disconnecting it on the final push to click the HU into place.

I moved and fiddled with the wires for a bit, and now it all goes into place nicely and my door lock and led works
