Interior smelling damp

Due to the cold weather any moisture in the car just sits, especially the floor matts, some mornings i get in and the car pongs of dampness, any tips?

Sounds like your heater matrix might be leaking. I had a Xsara that was like that before I got the clio. I got rid of it cos it was impossible to get rid of the smell of coolant and it was one of the worst cars i've ever had.
