I thought I would start a new thread as my last one was getting confusing!
My car started cutting out in traffic last week, and over the course of a couple of days this developed into a full misfire.
It has only given me a warning light once, P0301 misfire on C1 - this was cleared and I havnt had any other codes since.
I first cleaned the TDC sensor - it then ran spot on for about 10 minutes before cutting out again and the misfire returned.
Today I have replaced the leads and plugs - again, misfire gone for a good 20 minutes, thought I was in the clear.
Left it for 30 minutes while I had a drink, came back out to take it for a test drive and it started back on 3 again :dapprove:
Listened to it running on 3 for a few minutes, disconnected various injectors and they all behaved the same...
It then perk back onto 4 and was running fine for 5 minutes...
Have a feeling it will have to go to the garage tomorrow if I can solve it!
