Internet Explorer 8 - on a standard build?

Thoughts of deploying internet explorer 8 final across the network?

My thinking is, it's a final build, therefore should be the most secure. God knows about compatibility though...

Im not going to do it until i work out which features i dont want users contacting the helpdesk about

Im going to do some testing and create some group policies so its just the way i want it

Apart from that though the software seems fine

We've semi-deployed it, just on Classroom computers and we have had no complaints/problems yet! :approve:

Just got it on a few machines here at the moment. Also put it on the Vista partition at home - see how it goes.

Personally, I'd hang fire on the full roll-out idea. Maybe give it a motnh or two and then do it?

thats a major security issue!! ie6 isn't even supported anymore
