Internet Wepages "cannot display web page"

keeps on sayin "Internet Explorer cannot display Webpage" why ?

i get this on a lot of sites, dont kno what to do to let me in them:S i am not gettin Firefox or whatever it is you use, as i prefer IE

can you ping the sites ip address from a command prompt? might just be a dns issue if you can access some sites, especially sites which you have used before.

Run cmd.exe from Start > Run > cmd

type ping www.the-website-that-failed.com.co.org.net.uk

it shouldn't fail; if it does then that might be part of your problem.

Maybe your dad has blocked pr0n sites?

You running a router? Sounds like possibly a DNS issue, rebooting the router might get some new DNS servers.

Or there are some free DNS servers you could try
