IP-Bus Compatability

I'm looking at buying a new headunit and the one i'm looking at says its got IP-Bus Compatability but havent a clue what it is, can anyone inform me....

i take it this is a pioneer , basically just means u plug one end to hu and one to a cd changer , ipod adapter etc, conections are black to blue so u dont get confused if i remember correctly.

then if u want to add another device upto 4 i think , u just loop them e.g

head unit - ipod adapter - cd changer - minidisc changer

instead of all wires having to go back to the head unit
