If you buy in shop and the price is wrong they have to sell it to you at that price, online is a different matter though.

There's no limits?
I remember when I was about 4 and I got 1 of those tomigotchi things, it was priced up at 2 quid or something but it was wrong. They still let me have it for 2 quid.

My ex is a manager at Tesco. She said that if an item is priced wrongly in store it's pretty much down the to the checkout staff to report it. They usually dont care enough so let you have it. The way Tesco stop you getting said item is to withdraw it from sale (ie remove all stock from shelves).

Lol. This sort of thing is fine. Keep you happy. They lost a few quid but so what.
Tesco selling thousands of iPads at waaaay below cost price. No chance. It could have been done on purpose. They'll now have all these new email addresses.
The reason I said that is because I've been in that situation where I bought some vitamins which were priced at 2.50, and then the lady behind the till said that's 5, so I said no there 2.50? So she went and checked and said oh that's a mistake but seen as though it says 2.50 I am going to have to sell you them for 2.50.
jesus christ, I expected more from CS than a thread about this.... other than to dismiss it.

Really?
I knew exactly what would happen as soon as I saw it.
The same thing happens every time this kind of mistake happens.
50% of people know that the orders will not be honoured.
25% probably know that, but try it.
25% go full r****d. Despite being wrong and proven wrong, and remain defiantly full r****d.
f**kwits had been emailing watchdog about it too!
Watchdog is the holy grail to miserable f*ckwits who can't accept that the world hand them the moon on a stick, 24/7
It's like.....I don't know, like Jeremy Kyle.... with shops.
