Iphone 4, bluetooth & handsfree help

Ive got a jaba bluetooth hands free headset but cant seem to pair it to my iphone4 so was wondering if the iphone doesnt support these kind of handsfree equipment. If they dont any suggestions on a hands free for the car

It should support any bluetooth headset, but iPhones are renowned for their very poor bluetooth strength, I take it you have both devices next to each other when trying to pair them?

Yeah i do but it just wont find or pair it so given up

I've got a Parrot and it sync'd straight away never had any problems!
