Haven't seen the contract prices from o2 but I'm happy enough with my 32 p/m, 600 mins, unlimited txts and 500mb, phone was 99 though

I'm on o2 simplicity £20 month 600 mins unlimited texts and net. And those tariffs to me seem a bit pants? Yeah the phone costs a fair bit to buy but its less each month. And once my 4 sells im only spending about £200 on the 4S.

iPhone is from Apple and is active out the box.

£210 for phone on the £46 tariff plus £10 data works out at £882 overall.

I'm in a similar position. I'm off with a broken leg for about 6month and next week.. Of all weeks I'm going on a course and I prob won't have a chance to pop into an O2 store!! Grrrr so I will prob miss out by the time I will be able to hop along on sat GUTTED.

I'm gona do the £46 one over 12 month with the 500mb bolt on. £714 over the year for the 16GB. Not too bad tbh. Plus i need to sell the 3GS

Do you reckon it's worth paying the little extra for the 32GB? Not that I need the memory just thinking the 32GB might hold it's money better over the next year for when I come to sell it for the 5?

Scrap the good comment. Just spoken to O2 and they have stopped the fast track early upgrade to customers under £40pm spend!! Ba5tards!! And there was me thinking they were starting to look after existing customers!!

As for the argument that Apple has failed because the iPhone 4S, however nice an improvement overall, is not enough to entice iPhone 4 users to upgrade — so what? Normal people don’t buy brand-new $700 smartphones each and every year. In the U.S. they buy them on two-year contracts, and they don’t shop for new ones until their old contracts are over. So the iPhone that the 4S needs to present a compelling upgrade for is the 3GS, not the 4. And the iPhone 4S absolutely smokes the 3GS. It’s crazy better than the 3GS. 2009 3GS buyers who skipped the iPhone 4 — which I’m guessing are most of them — ought to be delighted by the iPhone 4S.

We saw the same criticism with the iPad 2 — that it wasn’t a compelling upgrade for existing iPad owners. In a way, those critics are right — the iPad 2 is not a compelling upgrade. But it wasn’t supposed to be — Apple expected iPad 1 owners to keep using the iPads they already own. Normal people don’t replace $600 gadgets annually — and they rightfully expect their $600 gadgets to remain useful and relevant for more than 12 months.

2 x 16GB Black 4S's, 1200 minutes, 750MB, Unlimited Texts, free phones, £46 a month plus 20% fire service service discount on both & £59 credit back to each bill - 1 for me 1 for the wife.

Only prob is the woman on phone said Voda are not getting there stock until the 14th on the actual morning so were gonna have to wait several days for delivery

Well I'm definitely getting a 4S!

Was a bit unsure but I'd be daft not to now.

I'm on O2 and a Gold Reward member and can upgrade 3 months early so I'm due an upgrade now. Already got a buyer for my iPhone 4 16gb for a bit over 300 quid. Get a new iPhone 4S 32gb on a 12 month deal. Continue paying what I'm paying now and I'll be able to upgrade in 9 months time.

I might as well, it's not going to cost me a penny extra.
