The only decent upgrade to the hardware is the camera and processor. But the camera on the iphone 4 is more than good enough due to the retina screen.
Surely the voice recog, find friends etc you'll be able to get on an iphone 4 anyway with the iOS5 update?
Would like to have seen a bigger screen and better battery.

I waited for a month when my upgrade was due in August, then thought f**k it and jumped ship to Android via the Sensation. I have to say I was a little worried that after tonight I might regret that choice, but I feel all the more happier now that I upgraded when I did.

So in summary, those that aren't happy, aren't happy because it doesn't have a new box??
The hardware update was obvious, how ever you look at it. After that, it's just the software surely - and in reality, everyone more or less knew what was coming there.

I wonder if people would still be spitting their dummies out or taking the piss if this came in a redesigned case? Seems like the deal breaker part is that it looks different rather than any features or improvements under the skin. Form > Function?

Pretty much sums it up! I hoped for a new chassis but otherwise its got everything that we knew about and i'm still happy to upgrade to it. the faster processor and hd video alone will be welcome.
