Iphone 6S - sim free John Lewis

Ok I am after a new 6S, and see John Lewis offer a 2 year guarantee (rather than the standard Apple 1yr) but do these lock to the first sim network provider inserted in them?

I've bought my last 3 iphones as 'sim free' through IT distribution, never had a sim lock issue or anything.
