what about your bank? £10 a month usual gets your global travel insurance, breakdown assistance, phone insurance etc.

+1 for protectyourbubble. £6.99 & they offer water & malicious damage as well as other things which most companies don't! I could have it with for free with my bank but the water damage cover is handy to have! I think it's also cheaper the more gadgets you insure, iPad, sat nav ETC.

If you pay for a recovery firm (like the AA) and travel insurance already you can get free iPhone insurance by getting a natwest platinum current account for £16 a month which includes all of the above and some other bits and pieces.

I pay £12.50 a month through EE, purely for convenience. If I drop it and break it, I have a new one within 24hrs.
