Iphone newbie

Dont worry I can take all the pelting IM going to get.

Just got an Iphone 4 and setting it up etc, when I go to update to the katest software it says the network connection has timed out? Did the networks diagnostic throu itunes and its fine, Am I doing somit wrong or is it an Itunes issue?

Not sure mate. Someone should be able to help on here though.

Mines was pretty straight forward!

"Multi-tasking" on it is superb! I use it constantly to switch between tasks.

hmmm not been doing it that way havent got sim card/my phone number transfered just got the iphone plugged into the laptop just to see what it does.

Forgot to mention the iphone was plugged into the laptop when I was doing it

So you've no sim card in it? Guessing you've not activated it through iTunes then?

sorry, the micro sim is in but just havent swapped my contract/details from the standard sim to micro sim. So its basically an I pod touch just now, downloading apps etc by being connected to wifi
