iPhoto being odd following a restore from time machine HELP!!!

HELP ME!!!

I've erased my Mac's HD, and clean installed Mountain Lion. All went well re-installing things like iTunes library from my Time Machine Backup.

Until,.. I got to restoring my iPhoto library.

I am at the point now were all my iPhoto pictures show up as black, and are only visible when scrolling up or down the library. As soon as you stop scrolling, all the thumbnails go black!!!!

I've got a few years of my life, wedding, son's birth til now backed up, but I can't access and need help!!!!
