iPod compatible head unit

  RB 182 (Cup Pack)
Can anyone recommend a decent iPod compatible head unit (by compatible I mean full control of the iPod, not just an Aux/USB connection).Budget of £200 max. I'm not fussed about anything flashy, just something simple.Any ideas?

I have some kind of alpine, tis decent enough and gives you sufficient control of the ipod, box is a bit cumbersome but the wires are long enough to sit it under the passenger seat, its a CDA-9857R plus the box

I've got a Kenwood KDC-W7044U sat in my spare room, fully boxed with instructions etc. Full specs here

Yours for £40 if you fancy it?

I fitted Connects2 ipod adapter with standard HU in my daughters Clio Ph2, it works well and has volume and track on or back from steering wheel. I had Xcarlink in my Volvo V70 T5 and that was also good, you could select playlists as well as track on and back.

Kenwood KIV-700

I nearly had this myself, its fekking amazing. Settled for a slightly lesser unit though in the end but I prefer Kenwood over Alpine.

Downsides to the KiV: it has no CD player (not really a negative) but the real deal buster for me was the facia cannot be removed (ghey)
