New iPod's including a return to the taller Nano with a larger screen. A minor update to the Touch and I reckon it'll include a speaker now like the iPhone to make better use of the Apps which are now available. The iPod's are all rumoured to be falling in price to separate them from the iPhone.

I'm hoping for a iTunes subscription option but if they do announce this I fear it'll be for the US only.

The title of today's event is Let's Rock so it's definitely all iPod/music related.

Expect iTunes 8 to be released and hopefully v2.1 software for the iPhone and Touch.

There was something i read about an Iphone Nano but ive read elsewhere not to expect that. That's where my initial intrest was. Although I think I'd be happy to see a reduction in price of an 8gb Nano.

They were quick to get stock into the shops this time last year, by Friday the new Nano's were available. The new additions are likely to simply be expanded colour choices for the updated Nano and a memory increase to 16gb.

Apple have apparently urged the media that this is a event they really must attend so I'd think something fairly big will be unveiled. Events for simple product revisions are not normally marketed so strongly by Apple. Fingers crossed for something good to blow my cash on.
