got a 80gb video ipod for my birthday last month,
and 2day it froze for th first time, so i restarted it by holdin menu and centre button.
then came back on with low battery, so as soon as i got in, i put it on charge and now its just frozen on the main menu screen, so i restart it and it comes back to main menu screen, and freezes again :S

Welcome to the fabulous world of iPods mate!

When they work they are great but they break ALL the time, usually when you have a long walk somewhere and the iPod was going to be the only good bit about it!

I leave mine hooked up to the HU in my car, as soon as I remove it it freezes up, bloody thing.

Would speak to Apple warranty pronto and try and get a replacement, from experience of they go wrong early on then they don't get any better and remain very inconsistent.

ipods are only designed t olast littl eover a year just enough to ge tout of warrnaty.4 people i know their spacked in within days of the warrnaty expiring. apple make them as quickly and cheaply as possible a bit like clios when the work they work when they dont thiey are fuct.
