IPOD problem :(

Synced my Ipod to my PC this morning to transfer some new tunes, unplugged it went off to work, bada bing, there were no songs on my ipod!! Looked in the settings and it tells me that just over 1gb of space is taken bu 0 songs. anyone else had this problem? I reset it but no joy.

I had a problem like that before. Needed a firmware update.

I updated my firmware 2 weeks ago

Ouch, you could try it again. It may have been corrupted. Does an icon come up on the screen with a pic of a cross and folder?

Thats what happened to mine.

Nope no icons atall, i know what you mean though, seems like they are still taking up space but not showing

First of all try re-syncing, the PC/software may have just been having a mare this morning If that doesn't fix it you may need to start from scratch
