iPod problems

has anyone had any problems with their alpine adaptors?(420i) Every now and then it doesn't recognise the iPod and the 'tick' and 'ok to disconnect' appear on the ipod and disc check on the hu. Other times the alpine logo comes up as normal but it still says 'disc check'....turning off the ignition and switching it back on often cures it but its getting more and more common!!!

I had this problem. It tended to happen when i left the ipod connected for a while, i.e. overnight in the car, same as you disconnected, reconnected, turn ignition off, and it normally works.
