ipod question

If i want to run 2 ipods off the same computer, but have 2 different sets of songs on them, how would be best to set it up?

Do i need to have 2 lots of itunes installed, or is there a way of running 2 off itunes?

In the i-pod settings in the i tunes preferences just set it to manage play lists manually.
