Ipod question

Major dumb ass ipod question .........

can you only put itunes on your ipod that you have paid for? because i have 0000's of mp3's on my pc, and wondering if these will be compitable if i get an Ipod?

Yes, any MP3 IS COMPATIBLE with an ipod.

No point paying for mp3's when their available for free on the net!!

The thing piss's me off though is when you buy a track from itunes its copy protected:(. Also I downloaded a Music Video from itunes a while back and when I had to reformat my hdd I decided to transfer all my itunes music onto a CDRW and then transfer them back once I had reinstalled the itunes software.
When I transfered the music back I found out that the music video that I had bought from itunes would no-longer play. So I no-longer buy from itunes anymore.

Just make sure you disable the option to let i-tunes organise your music. Otherwise it'll send your mp3's all over the show - speaking from experience!
