ipod touch email help - Hotmail

Does anyone know how to set it up so when you get an email on ipod and read it and then delete it, that the same happens on the hotmail site?

So annoying when you have to go on hotmail and delete it again

IMAP as above ... but who uses hotmail any more ? I get more mail from friends with hacked hotmail accounts than anything else.
