iPod Touch - Skype

You can get skype on the 2nd generation ipod touch and from the apple store you can get a headphone set with inbuilt microphone.

To use the service you need to have a wi-fi connection....

.... i currently have a UK land line number that you can dial which comes through to my skype, with the iPod touch are you able to receive calls using the skype app or are you only able to make calls?

I can only comment based on my iPhone (have both 3G and 3GS)
Making a receiving calls works fine, obviously you have to keep the app active or use backgrounder (still requires the device to be "awake")

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work on the touch too.
