IPOD trouble.

My Ipod has suddenly f***ed up on me - it is showing that its playing as in shows the triangle sign in the top left corner but where the time counts up and down at the bottom left and right hand corners its not moving at all.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem or know what is wrong with it - I know its a long shot but Im going to have to send it back to apple if not.

Any help would be apprechiated

Have you tried doing a reset on it to see if that sorts it?

Is this happening with all songs??

Have you recently put more music on?

I know ipods currupt very easily and need formatting and bashing all your songs on again.

I did this about 4 times as i had one dodgey song

It seems to be doing it with all songs and yes my sister recently wiped it clean and put a load of new songs on it for me.

Ive tried resetting it - might try it a couple more times.

Needs formatting again...at a guess i'd pressume a song thats been put on is either corrupted OR your ipod dislikes it :>

bash it in your pc - wipe it on itunes and just stick 1 song on, eject the ipod to make sure its disconnected from your PC correctly and see if that one song plays.

Finally got it working - ended up calling Apple helpline in the end - apparently sometimes Ipods freeze and when they do all you have to do it hold down the middle button and the menu button for ten secs and it resets the Ipod, I did this and its working now. Just for future ref in case any of you have bother with your Ipods.
