is 5 litres enough to fill to max marker?

Just managed to get 5litres of elf evolution for a very good price from a local renault specialist and just wondering if 5 litres is enough for fill it to the max marker? I know it says 5.1 but is 5.1 from a completely dry engine or does this take into account that you wont be able to drain the lot?

Ive got a 1 litre bottle of carlube tripple r fully synth but heard its not a good idea to top up with a different oil or does it not cause any harm?

5 will be fine mate, i've never had to put anymore in.

i just changed my oil and the 5 litres of fuchs stuff i had done the job to the max mark.

i wouldn't mix different makes of oil unless its an emergency top up.and your going to drain it off very soon

5litres is fine, you can never drain it fully anyway, IMO its fine to mix brands....just as long as its not different / types weights....... 5w40 fully synth & 10w40 part.

5L should be fiine, just keep an eye on the level after
