yep they are, not sure how much but i know that on coilovers a 172 can only be lowered about 50mm whilst a dynamique can comfortably go 80mm

(and no 172 springs DON'T fit a 1.2/1.4/1.6 before you ask!)

As Fred said 15 to 20mm or so depends what model 172/182 and what moel none RS your talking about.
