Is anyone 19 with a 172

Is it possible to get insured or will it be impossible, Ill be on the old mans name...

Just woundering if it was possible and how much I would be looking at!!

21, 2yrs NCB and payin 1300 with direct line. Used them as previous car got written off and was just easy to pay the extra. Any idea on some good companys who will give me a nice low premium at 22 with 3yrs NCB?

Im 17 and Liverpool Vic gave me 1 years no claims bonus for joining? Maybe along the same lines?

I was waiting for someone to point that out.

I dont know myself to be fair. I was with direct line when I had a new mini, and took my own policy out for this car as I was under my dads name before. They did mess me about a bit as far as setting up my insurance goes, and no claims bonus, when my renewal notice came through it said I had 4 years NCB. I rang to check if this was correct and they said yes.

I wasnt going to complain. I wouldnt have the 172 if they hadnt have messed up. The insurance was enough even with the NCB.

I cant believe how much a year makes either. At 20 I was paying £1600, and then when I turned 21 it went to £650

You can get that with a "Bonus Accelerator" policy............9months 1years NCB...........18months 2years NCB etc etc

well elephant quoted me 1200 ish on a 1.6 rsi so i was thinking around the 2k mark for a 172 , 19 0 ncb pass plus living in bristol is that a bit optamistic ?
