Wot the hell is this code it refers to a transmission Temp sensor fault.... Yet it seems that the 182 doesn't even have one!?

didnt this get covered yesterday?

if i plug my handheld code reader in my 182 it will bring it up.
yet i put my car on clip, and boom no faults!

in all honesty dont worry about it.

i have this exact problem on my '02 52 plate clio 172, and several different fault code readers have all read this P0711 code.

Mine car appears to be running rich and mis-fires at certian rpms and throttle positions?!?

anyone got an idea if this P0711 code has a different meaning in Renault speak?!?

Its a red herring. Alot of them bring it up. Dont worry about it.

Thanks shepperdspie, but the fault code keeps coming back, dispite clearing it and reseting the SERV light on several occasions. Is there anyway I can solve this?
