Been told it wasnt but would be very cool if it is! Surely there would be a difference in the boot lid part numbers if they are diff?

if you look under the boot catch the shape of the boot is identical

stu V6 (i think) has done it to his mk1 V6

Been offered the full lock assembly and plastic bits for £25 thought that was a bargain

Spoke to Stu apparently it cant be done

Have to find someone with a newer shape clio and hijack their boot lid for an afternoon

Dont think it is.

The surround is recessed slightly on the Mk2 ph2

Part numbers:

82 00 057 918 LOGO RENAULT 13.37 ---3 x 1

77 01 051 854 SURROUND 38.86 ---3 x 1

82 00 060 917 HANDLE 34.93 ---3 x 1

No this is not a straight swap the ph2 does have a recess and is held on by 3 screw not 2 like the ph1

Might still have a go at modifying it
