Basically my fan isn't working!
Changed thermostat
Cts
Relays
Checked earths (all good)
Checked fan (works ok)

I want to run a manual fan so when it's creeping up in traffic! Anyone else done this??

No reason you can't runa manual fan - i'd want a more accurate temp guage than the standard dash one though.

Yeah tell me about it! It's all over the place recently! Turn the car off and ignition on (without starting) and gauge reads normal!

I've run a manual fan for years on my mk1
