a way round it might be to take out a policy, get them to fax u a temp cover note, get teh tax then cancel the insurance using the 14 day cooling off period, then u'd get a full refund on any money spent on the insurance.
im just playing with ideas, but would never actualy do it.
just to buy a 172 and get it taxed and use my insurance on my other clio to drive it 3rd party as it says i can do...for a few months until im 21 and most insurance will actually look at me for insurance, but as i said it was just curiosity as i wouldnt do it anyway

yeahs that what i meant sorry. but i dont think theres anything stoppin you "giving" it to your mate that way youd be driving "his" car lol but as i said not gonna do that, just keep it legit cause id be the type of person who gets done for it!
