to remove the caliper mounting bolts and take the whole thing off and tie it up, instead of removing the caliper from the bracket? as i dont need new pads.?? i just need to change the disk...

yeah remove the mounting bolts from the rear of the caliper (18mm) and it just slides off then take the disk off with the torx, you might have to give it a good bash with a hammer
