New image in pinner LONDON are having a 50% discount of some of their headunits.

do you think it is worth me getting a headunit and not changing the standard speaks that come with a 172 MK2.

will the speakers connect strate onto the headunit and my 6 cd stacker or will i have to do some custom wire cutting etc...... if i was to buy a pionner or something like that?

would be great if anyone could help

depending on the headunit you may be able to get a cable to patch the cd changer to the head unit, speaker connection will not be an issue no matter what unit you buy and the standard speakers although not great arent too bad if you run an amp and sub with them.

Get a DVD HU if they have any at 50% off.

Spend what you would have spent on a normal price one so you get a decent one.

Speakers will cope fine as long as you dont max then volume. Changing them is a right pain in the hoop, so unless you got time, leave the std ones unless you plan to upgrade the whole lot at a later date.

Any if you get a sony, or kenwood (defo sony, ask about kenwood/apline) you can get an autoleads (Or similar) connector to use the original steering wheel stalk.

But you will have to do a custom jobbie to keep your changer(As the only work with the std hu), best off getting an mp3 HU and ditching the changer as you can get more albums on there anyway
