Hey guys, could someone please confirm to me that these parts look like they were replaced 2k miles ago? When I got the car it said they were replaced but no receipt for the work or parts, before i do to many track days I would like to know its been done, or else I will change it myselft at work when quiet, the belt does look new but the it pump that I'm not sure on, never seen one before so have no idea what condition they get in after a few k miles

oh hmm okay :p, seems to pull fine and run smooth not to indicate timing is out, will the red marks always stop in the same place though ?

as for the pump the car is on 81k miles would the original still be in as good condition?

I think you need to do a search on how to time these cars up lol

  Whichever has fuel
This place never ceases to amaze me at times.

I love it. If my memory serves me correctly, the op turned down my 'high mileage' car, despite me spending the best part of £2k on it getting it mint. All the expensive jobs!!

Now he's bought a 'low miler' which now needs £700's worth of belts due phaser/water pump.

(Apologies to the op if you're not the same dan!)
