RB 182 FF cup pack

Bought a rb 182 bout 3 weeks ago now and cos there isn't a shell garage near by i've been filling up with normal super unleaded with the octane level 97. I notice a lot of members only use optimax etc and next to the filling cap is a recommendation to use 98 ron! Is using 97 super unleaded gonna ruin the engine eventually?
