Is there a difference between ph1 172 and ph2 172 subframes ?

Phase 2 is a twisted dogbone, phase 1 is straight, so something must be different at one of the ends

I'm with Danny, I thought the gearbox had a different lug on it

Wishbone mountings are slightly wider apart (track). The dog bone is only different at the gearbox end.
