It's certainly top money, but happy to pay more for a good example.

Just because it has had one owner, doesn't automatically make it a really good example. Much better valued ones out there mate.

Agreed and if it hasn't had the cambelt done by now and for that price, walk away. I can't see it mentioned there but he may have forgotten to mention it.

For £3k you can get a decent phase 2.

Absolutely agree. Although any car I buy needs to be from a dealer as I can't sell mine so this is a little limiting. Book has a stamp for a 'major service'' around 60k at about 5 years old which fit's for a belt, but cajn't be a 100% as the service book and old MOTs are the only paperwork.
