Is this price right?

Went to my local Renault dealer today to see about colour coding my car. the price he gave me was £180 per side, then he explained about the plastic having to be treated etc and using a special primer, i personally thought he was just saying all that to justify the price (which seemed alot to me) or is it normally about this much?

why are you asking a dealer surely its better to get a bodyshop to sort it for less £££'s

Never go to a dealer!! They wanted £1200 to fix/replace my gearbox, gearbox specialist by me, charged just £280. That is just an example of excessive pricing by dealers.

I'll give them a miss! is it a pretty simple job then, cos i dont want some scally doing it a wrecking it! anybody know of anywhere in the North East?

Thats a bit drastic dealers don't have an easy time.

I got my whole car colour coded for that price, the 'special' primer is just plastic primer...

its high build primer..... not expensive... or time consuming... ideally look around for work done by a painter... and only use one recommended for work done... there are so many cowboys out there doing it...
