Is this the right track rod end?

got a couple of rh track rod ends I picked up from ecp a while ago for my 1.6 part numbers are the same as the 172, is that correct.

but more importantly is the little nipple thing needed that sticks out the bottom, has anyone used these before.

Its a grease nipple, Normally fill them up with grease through a grease gun until the grease comes out of the boot then you know its got plenty in.

Wonder if they are pre-greased with them having a nipple on??

Do I leave it on, when I take it off I can see all the grease inside?

Yeah leave it on you lemon, It there to allow you to service them in the future by regresing them, Its a good idea TBH maybe Renault could have done it on theirs from the factory

o.k cheers, just didnt like the idea of that sticking out the bottom waiting for my wife to mount a kerb and snap it off!
