Is this 'usual'?

was outside tinkering with the rsi this evening, had the bonnet open and noticed when i reved the car even slightly the pipe going from the engine to the radiator compresses almost and goes flatter, im guessing this is not right, any ideas what this is??? any help would be awesome.

well, yes! it looks very odd!! was worried it was going to cost me money i dont have to fix it!

hahahaaaa mate the exact same thing happened to me,

I was showing a mate under the bonnet, and he sed "wow look at that pipe" LOL... on my 40min drive home i didnt put my foot down once, thinking the pipe was gonna split or break hahahaa
