Is thread lock required if im using new locking nuts on the rear discs?

why would you use thread lock on the rear nuts? i overtightened mine last time and they were a right bstard to get off.

If he means the hub nut then no thread lock Is required, they have nylon in the nut so that stops it coming loose. Renault also advise these are replaced when removed.

Also be carful when tightening the hub nuts up as if their too tight or loose the bearings will wear out very quickly. They should be torqured to 175nm

yes I meant the hub nuts (i.e the one that holds the disk in place). thanks for the reply's. Felling a bit pissed now though as they have sent me the wrong package without the nuts!! Also with the hub poking through the packaging. Just hope the bearings are not damaged! The delivery guy literally dropped it on the doorstep. w**ker. DPD in case your wondering.
